I paint what I love, and that includes my cat, Felix. After creating hundreds of paintings of him, my horizons have expanded to include a more diverse, and prolific cast of felines. I use reclaimed wood offcuts from my job as an art framer, creating extremely small paintings to keep original artworks affordable and accessible to my audience.

Bonkers
Cats is an ongoing series in which I paint cats in all their glory. My muse, Felix the cat, appears in different moments around the apartment, captured in various moods and expressions.
By repeatedly painting the same subject on small surfaces, I can explore different color combinations and compositions. As I work, I find that the colors and forms naturally align with the cats' expressions, creating a distinct moment in time. Each painting takes on a life of its own.
And of course, I have an entourage of cats cheering me on in my studio.
