Pathways: Enclosed Landscapes
How do we know we are going the right way? How does the way we see alter what is already there?
The environment is constantly changing, and I see myself as a puddle reflecting this transformation. My emotions and inner world often feel separate from reality, yet I find a sense of grounding when I stop and observe how everything around me is also in flux. Trees, leaves, buildings, street lamps, and shadows each follow their own rhythms, undergoing immense change every day and night. In my paintings, I strive to capture this movement while also honoring my own internal process.
While working on this series, I became especially aware of the stark contrast between night and day. The night opened up my exploration of color theory, allowing me to experiment freely, while the day appeared more predetermined—defined by greens, yellows and rich blues. The night holds my heart, while the day holds my waking moments.
