Rowan Doucette

I am inspired by the beauty of my everyday surroundings seen and felt - on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən people. This includes but is never limited to seascapes, iron gates, pathways, the light falling on a magnolia branch, and even my tuxedo cat, Felix. I believe that my art practice should come directly from my heart and my life. I strive to do my own thing, and honour what keeps me going creatively.
